UN[EXPECTED] MATE[REALITY]
FORM FINDING TO DIGITAL FABRICATION
The intensive workshop offered the opportunity to students, researchers and young designers to explore methods and tools related to innovative topics in Computational Design and Emerging Technologies.
The workshop experimented advanced design methodologies and techniques, introduced directly with fabrication and construction of a 1:1 installation. Students and instructors collaborated in a challenging design experience ranging from Form-Finding theory to real construction of a temporary pavilion based on a parametric strategies.
